The “Sideways” jQuery gallery

The power of jQuery library makes it more and more easy, without flash, to develop powerfull applications, easy to use and with a fluid and simple user interface.

When the friend I’m currently developping a website for (see “Latest projects“) sent me the link to this gallery, I was blown up ! What I loved the most is the way it’s so simiple to use. Then, looking at the source code, I discovered how the autor used jQuery and powerfull CSS3 features to do such a efficient app.

The simple way the autor, Malihu,  wrote his code allowed me to adapt this script and turn it into a WordPress Post template. Now, my friend will just have to create a new post, upload his gallery pictures and write a piece of shortcode.. and tadaaaaa : in a few clics, a new photo gallery will be displayed in his website !
